Think we can get a free iPad?

Lucy has made no new strides in words until yesterday. Her first new word since receiving the ear tubes was...
She is babbling a lot more now and is actually trying to repeat some of the words we say instead of just grunting for things. She also seems happier...much more cheerful all day long. I guess with the chronic pain of ear infections and fluid gone she is feeling like life just got a whole lot better!

Later in the day we had more iPad fun...rainy days make this an invaluable piece of equipment.

Love it! Can you share some of the apps you have found to be most useful?

I am SO happy to hear about the positive changes you've seen in Lucy already. Perhaps this explains some of her resistance to listening to stories. Just looking wasn't interesting enough, and she's been hearing everything very garbled! Wow, just in one day and she's trying to repeat words!

I chuckled when I played the second video. We found that version of Wheels on the Bus on YouTube shortly after getting home from China, and Emme loved it!

I'm still feeling so happy for Lucy. :) :) :)

Hey Lisa, have you tried Animal Song and Elephant Song on utube? They are all about animal sounds and dead cute. Baby Euan loves to watch them on our iPads!
