28 Years

Len and I passed the 28 year marriage mark last month. To celebrate we booked a night at the Crystal River Plantation, left the girls with Meme and Papa (thank you!) and settled in to some couple time. We haven't spent the night away from K & L since they were three so this was a much-needed getaway. We lounged by the pool and had some lunch, then went kayaking on the Crystal River before getting cleaned up to feast on seafood at The Freezer.

The next morning we got up early to go snorkling with the manatees. Ideally, the best time to see manatees in Crystal River is during the winter months as the springs provide warmer water for them, but we got lucky and found a mama and baby in one of the inlets.

The captain of the boat took pics and videos for us.
